Portsmouth East to Perform at Green Contest

Saturday, October 21, the Portsmouth East Marching Band will be competing in its final competition of the 2000 season at Green High School. The band will be competing in Class AA, and their performance time will be at 9PM (the band will be the final competing band). The beginning of the contest will be at 5PM, so get there early to support all of the bands that perform prior to East.

Portsmouth East would also like to wish all of the bands that have yet to qualify for OMEA State Finals the best of luck. In the immediate local area, the bands that have already qualified are Portsmouth East, Rock Hill, Northwest, Green, and Portsmouth West; we are sure that this weekend will add to these ranks!
