Band Camp a Success in Spite of Heat Wave

The East Marching Band conclude their official two week band camp on Friday, August 10th, 2001. Even with the nearly unbearable heat, the band has not only learned all of the drill, but has even begun to extensively clean the show. Congratulations!

Although the first two weeks of practice are considered "band camp", the remainder of the summer will be spent on an identical (or similar) practice schedule, with the exception of the week of August 13-17, when Scott Brehm will be out of town. The schedule for that week will be 8AM-12PM, Monday-Thursday, and will be headed by Bill Burroway and staff.

Once again, congratulations, East, on yet another successful band camp! Keep up the fantastic work!
