East to Compete in Portsmouth West's Contest

Saturday, October 04, 2001, the East Marching Band, will be competing in the Portsmouth West contest. Competing in Class A, the band is scheduled to take the field at 1:00PM. The competition, however, begins at 10:00AM, and you are urged to support all of the bands that will compete at West.

East to Host the 19th Annual Blue & White Invitational

Following their performance at Portsmouth West, the East Marching Band will travel to Spartan Municipal Stadium in Portsmouth, Ohio, where they will host their own contest, the Blue & White Invitational. The contest, which has been an annual event since 1983, will begin at 4:00PM, and will conclude between 7:45PM and 8:00PM, depending on score tabulation times and unforeseen hold-ups.
