East Tartan Regiment Excellent at State

The East Tartan Regiment performed in its 9th consecutive appearance at OMEA State Finals (its 12th appearance ever) on Sunday, 03 November 2002. The band received an overall Excellent (II) rating. The percussion received Superior (I) ratings in all captions (including sub-captions within the percussion score itself), while the auxiliary received a Superior (I) rating and an Excellent (II) rating from their two judges.

From the local scene, Green performed in the same judging block as East, topping off their undefeated season with their second straight Superior (I) rating! East congratulates Green on their unprecedented success, and wishes them the same success throughout the rest of the year with non-marching related musical ventures.

Also representing the local area on 03 November was Northwest, consistently a State Finals qualifying band, receiving an Excellent (II) rating. Congratulations to Northwest for being part of the local area's fine representation at State Finals!
