ETR Competes at Tipp City

The East Tartan Regiment began its competition season yesterday at Tipp City's marching band festival. In OMEA competition, the band was awarded 2nd Place Class C Band and 1st Place Class C Guard. It should be noted that the band received the highest music and marching scores in class. The band also fared well in overall competition, placing 5th overall out of a field of 14, receiving individual caption scores on par with the overall higher scoring bands. The scores also indicate that ETR is on the verge of OMEA State Finals qualification, a goal the Regiment woud like to achieve early in the season.
