ETR to Compete at Bloom Carroll

The East Tartan Regiment will travel to Bloom Carroll on Saturday, 21 October 2006, to compete in its final contest of 2006. Though the band looks forward to competing, its main goal is to achieve a Superior Rating to qualify for OMEA State Finals for the 13th straight year. Though most would agree the regiment is performing its most solid show in years, the band has not yet qualified in 2006. The band has been one rating point shy of qualification for three straight competitions, and although the band has considerably improved its performances and scores each week, several anomalies have kept the band from qualification. Still, hopes remain high and the band remains confident, and looks forward to closing another wonderful season of competition.
