ETR Qualifies for OMEA State Finals

Although it was not announced during the awards ceremony at Ironton's Buckeye Classic on 14 October 2006, the East Tartan Regiment's performance did qualify for OMEA State Marching Band Finals. Tabulators at the event falsely entered a II rating for percussion, despite the fact the East percussion actually received a I. Upon comparing the judges' sheets with the recap sheets, the error was confirmed, which brought East's overall rating from a II to a I. The errors were only regarding the ratings, and not the scores, so awards and placement have not been affected.
