04 November 2006 ETR Receives "Excellent" Rating at OMEA State Marching Band Finals The East Tartan Regiment concluded its 2006 competition season by receiving an "Excellent" (II) rating at OMEA State Marching Band Finals. Performing on a cold morning, the ETR was well received by the audience at Dublin-Coffman's stadium. Fellow C Bands Woodmore and Adena received Superior Ratings during the same performance block as East. In a field dominated by large bands, Woodmore and Adena were the only bands during the morning portion of finals to receive superiors. ETR still has several performances in 2006, including a Veteran's Day Parade and two Christmas Parades. Information on these performances will be posted shortly. Congratulations to the East Tartan Regiment and all other bands for what has proved to be another fantastic year on the fields of competition.
