2000 Competition Show - "Latin Heat"

The 2000 Fall season saw the reemergence of a legend: Mr. Ken Henry! Known to some as the fastest trumpet slinger this side (or that side) of the Ohio River, Ken Henry returned as director, replacing Eric Hambrick, to set aflame the competition fields with the fire of Calor Latina: "Latin Heat"!

Three masterworks of the Latin persuasion made up the Portsmouth East 2000 Field Show: the powerful "Malagueña" opened; the smooth mambo of "The Peanut Vendor (El Manicero)" followed; and the intense "Granada" closed the show in a conflagration of grandiose proportions!
